Actress, Teacher, Journalist, Teacher again, these are all things that I once believed I wanted to be when I grew up. Photographer never crossed my mind until I was looking for a course to do during collage, even then I didn't know where I wanted to go with it. There are so many options in photography but I was limited to choosing a specific sector in a collage environment. So I put this passion on the back burner and went into childcare. Did I know that working with children would just ignite this need to want to photograph all the time? No I didn't, but from taking snapshots using my phone to taking my camera out on days out, I had found my niche in the photography world and knew that one day there would be nothing more I would want to do than just that - Capturing those fleeting seconds of pure joy on a child's face for their parents to treasure forever.
Nannying has played such a big part in where I am today. Confidence is something that some people are born with, not me! Being a nanny made me do things I wouldn't usually have done. Being in charge of a whole other being, means you have to be confident in what you do otherwise you're not giving that child the best you can. Gaining this confidence has allowed me to get where I am today... starting

In this blog I am going to keep track of how I set up my business and everything I learn along the way. 6 Months in I can tell you, there is so much more to photography than picking up a camera and clicking a button. The more I enter the world of photography, the more I realise just how amazing my fellow successful photographers are, maintaining everything they have to do to stay successful.
